We’re co-sponsoring this month’s talk with the Maryland Commission on Civil Rights (MCCR). They will be presenting how MD residents can protect themselves from discrimination in the areas of employment, housing, public accommodations, and state contracts.

The MCCR also directly receives complaints from any resident who experiences discrimination in those areas. Come learn the process of how to file a complaint.

Learn more about the MD Commission on Civil Rights:

The Maryland Commission on Civil Rights (MCCR) represents the interest of the State to ensure equal opportunity for all through enforcement of Titles 19 and 20, State Government Article (formerly Article 49B) of the Annotated Code of Maryland and the State’s Commercial Non-Discrimination Policy.
MCCR investigates complaints of discrimination in employment, housing, public accommodations and commercial discrimination from members of protected classes that are covered under those laws.
