Who are Community Sustainers?
Our social network includes hundreds of individuals committed to the empowerment and self-determination efforts of Black youth, families and communities in Baltimore.

Community Sustainers are individuals and organizations that support the mission of Leaders of a Beautiful Struggle via recurring monthly financial investments in our work.

Unrestricted financial capital to fund the operations of our grassroots organizing work is made possible by our Sustainers who contribute each month to LBS.

Frequently Asked Questions:
  • When does my card get charged every month?
    • Your card is charged on the same day each month from the day you initially signed up.
      • For example: If you signed up on January 1st, then your card will be charged on the 1st of every month afterwards.
  • Does LBS keep my credit card on file for other uses?
    • No. LBS will only charge your card for your sustainer subscription. We will never give your card information to anyone else.
    • LBS will never see your card information. All transactions are processed securely through Stripe and Chargebee. You can also use your PayPal account to process your monthly contribution as well.
  • How do I change my payment information?
    • You can manage your sustainer profile through our Sustainer Portal. Simply log in and change your payment information.
  • How do I modify or cancel my subscription?
    • You can manage your sustainer profile through our Sustainer Portal.
    • Set up your sustainer profile once you sign up for your plan.
    • Once you log in, you will have the option to upgrade, downgrade or cancel your subscription.
  • Can I give a larger amount than $50 per month?
    • Yes! Email us at info@lbsbaltimore.com and we’ll set up your account with one of our team members.
  • How do I get technical support for my subscription when I’m having trouble?
    • Send an email to info@lbsbaltimore.com about any questions or concerns you have about your Sustainer profile.

chargebee

  • Your Sustainer profile is managed through Chargebee. You can modify, upgrade or cancel your subscription yourself through our Sustainer Portal.
  • All payments are processed through Stripe. We will never see your card or payment information. Financial donations are managed and processed through Stripe’s PCI Compliant servers. Sustainers can also use their PayPal amount to process their monthly contributions, as well.
