Chris Batten is a visual artist whose drawing and painting practice delves into the complexities of America's socio-political landscape. With a focus on issues such as race, inequity, economic deprivation, the mundane, and hysteria, Batten's work explores the phenomenological aspects of violence and moments of peace and balance.
