Leaders of a Beautiful Struggle (LBS) is a grassroots think-tank which advances the public policy interest of Black people, in Baltimore, through: youth leadership development, political advocacy, and autonomous intellectual innovation.
The enslavement of people of African descent and the colonization of Africa was an unprovoked act of war against the humanity of Black people. America, and western civilization more broadly, is rooted in the system of white supremacy and a conception of humanity that is fundamentally anti-African. Black people can not practice freedom in this world without having sovereignty and power to protect and defend our interests.
As revolutionary pan-african nationalists, we understand that we must build ecosystems of independent Black institutions that are responsive to the needs of the masses of Black people, as well as engage in political warfare against the institutions that maintain white political and economic colonization of the world.
