Malcolm X Talk: Building a Black Incubator

August 25 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

Join LBS for our August Malcolm X Talk!

We are working with the Baltimore Algebra Project on an upcoming collaborative effort to create and sustain locally led enteprise.

The Peer to Peer Enterprises Model is rooted in the idea that expertise does not exist above or away from young people and their communities, but among them.

Peer to Peer is a project that will cultivate an ecosystem of grassroots organizations and infrastructure support that will accomplish two primary goals.

  • Help to support the development of Black led grassroots organizations that are typically closest in proximity to young people and their communities but are substantially underfunded.
  • Provide young people with access to organizations that can instruct them on how to monetize their intellectual and social capital.

Join the conversation with LBS and BAP to find out how YOU can get involved with making this effort a success.

This event is FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
